Shipping & Delivery
This page sets out the standard arrangements applicable to the preparation, shipment, delivery and collection of wines purchased through the AJ Domaines website.
It should be read together with the AJ Domaines Terms of Service. Any delivery option, written quotation or specific arrangement confirmed by AJ Domaines for an individual order will apply to that order.

1. Shipping Destinations
AJ Domaines currently offers online delivery to selected destinations across Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania.
Europe
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, mainland France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
North America
Canada and the United States.
Asia
Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.
Oceania
Australia and New Zealand.
For France, standard online delivery is limited to the continental part of metropolitan France and excludes Corsica and the French overseas departments, regions, collectivities and territories. Such deliveries are arranged upon request and are subject to a personalised quotation.
For the other countries expressly listed above, standard delivery to island countries remains available where shown during checkout. Delivery to offshore islands, archipelagos or remote territories within those countries are not covered by the standard shipping rates displayed on the website unless expressly available during checkout. Such deliveries are arranged upon request and are subject to a personalised quotation.
Available destinations may change according to applicable regulations, carrier availability, logistical requirements and the contents of the order.
The destinations and delivery options displayed during checkout are those available for the order being placed. If your destination is not displayed, please contact club@ajdomaines.com before completing your purchase.
2. Standard Shipping Charges
Standard shipping charges are calculated during checkout according to the delivery destination, the contents of the order and the delivery option selected.
The shipping charge displayed during checkout covers one shipment of the relevant order to one delivery address.
The division of an order into several shipments or delivery to multiple addresses is not included in the displayed shipping charge and requires AJ Domaines’ prior written agreement. Additional charges may apply.
Members are responsible for checking the accuracy of their delivery address and contact details before confirming an order.
Any request to change these details after an order has been placed must be submitted to club@ajdomaines.com before dispatch. Such requests remain subject to operational feasibility and may affect the available delivery arrangements or applicable charges.
Preparation and Dispatch
Wines from current stock are generally prepared for dispatch in a timely manner. Preparation and dispatch times may, however, be longer during the summer months.
Selected wines offered on a pre-sale basis can only be dispatched once they have become available for delivery.

Orders are prepared according to the bottle formats ordered, the destination and the requirements of the selected carrier. Where specific handling or logistical arrangements are required and affect the order or its cost, AJ Domaines will contact the member before dispatch.
Receipt of Your Order
Upon delivery, members are invited to inspect the external condition of the shipment.
Where possible, any visible damage or discrepancy should be noted on the carrier’s delivery record before the shipment is accepted. Please also contact club@ajdomaines.com promptly and retain the original packaging, together with photographs of the shipment and any affected wines.
These practical reporting arrangements do not affect any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
VAT
All wine prices displayed on the AJ Domaines website are exclusive of VAT.
Where applicable, VAT is calculated during checkout according to the VAT treatment applied to the country of delivery.
Shipping charges are calculated separately and displayed before the order is confirmed.
Customs Duties, Import Taxes and Additional Charges
Except for VAT calculated during checkout, the standard online checkout does not calculate or separately collect customs duties, import taxes, excise duties, customs-clearance fees, brokerage charges or other destination-related charges, unless expressly stated otherwise.
These amounts are not included in the standard shipping charge displayed on the website unless they are expressly identified as included.
Their applicability, amount, method of collection and legal treatment depend on the destination, the applicable regulations and the delivery service selected.
No duty, tax, customs service or additional charge should be considered included unless it is expressly stated during checkout or itemised in a written quotation or confirmation issued by AJ Domaines.
AJ Domaines can confirm which services and amounts are included in its own quotation. It cannot guarantee amounts imposed independently by customs authorities, carriers, brokers or other third parties unless those amounts are expressly included in the quotation.

Door-to-Door Delivery
For selected international destinations, AJ Domaines can arrange a bespoke Door-to-Door delivery service upon request.
This service is separate from the standard delivery options and shipping charges displayed during checkout. It is therefore not included in the standard shipping amount shown on the website.
A personalised written quotation will be prepared according to the destination, the wines concerned and the logistical or customs services required.
The quotation will specify the services and charges included. Where applicable, it will also state whether customs formalities, duties, taxes or other destination-related charges are included.
No service, duty, tax or additional charge should be considered part of the Door-to-Door arrangement unless it is expressly identified in the written quotation.
